Viper Motorcycles Company has agreed to buy a 32,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, located on four acres in Monticello, Minn., the company said Thursday.

The New Hope, Minn.-based company, a subsidiary of Viper Powersports, said the facility will meet its current manufacturing needs and is zoned for expansion.

Viper Motorcycles plans to introduce its second model, the Diablo Power Cruiser, at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati on Feb. 4-6. The company will also introduce its own line of proprietary engines.

"With the introduction of our own engines, Viper joins Harley Davidson and Victory as the only true [original equipment manufacturers] in the cruiser segment," Viper Motorcycles president Terry Nesbitt said.
